ACCREDITATION
Please register HERE for an accreditation, unless you've already registered in previous years. There you will find all conditions that need to be met before an accreditation is granted.
Due to the big demand, we cannot give out free accreditations for everyone. Pay-VIP-tickets have the same price as normal pre-sale tickets, that is 85.- Euros, and have to be paid in cash at the VIP Container! It is not possible to exchange normal pre-sale tickets for Pay VIP tickets!
The deadline for accreditations is the 1st of August, 2013!
AGE LIMIT/ PROTECION OF MINORS
At SUMMER BREEZE Open Air, the German Law for the Protection of the Youth applies.
Ages from 0 to 6 inclusively
Admittance:
Concert area: no admittance
Camp site: only with legal guardian
Ages from 7 to 15 inclusively
Admittance:
Concert area: only with legal guardian or person having the care and custody of the
child
Camp site: only with legal guardian or person having the care and custody of the
child
Ages from 16 to 17 inclusively
Admittance:
Concert area (from 24:00): only with legal guardian or person having the care and custody of the
child
Camp site (from 24:00): only with legal guardian or person having the care and custody of the
child
Youths between 16 and 17 years of age without their parents, legal guardians or custodians must leave the festival site (including the concert area and camp site) before 24:00!
Legal guardian
Parent or guardian appointed by law.
Person having the care and custody of the child
Parent, guardian or third person to whom the parent or guardian has transferred custody for the duration of the festival.
If a youth is accompanied by a third person, they must have a written “agreement for custody” issued and signed in a legally binding way. This has to be carried at all times along with the personal ID. Failure to produce said document upon request may lead to expulsion by police. The homeward journey must be guaranteed for the accompanied youth.
We expressly point out that the legal guardians, normally the parents, must in all conscience decide who may temporarily assume the responsibility for education and to which extent it is transfered. The person to whom this mandate is transfered must also be aware of the responsibility it implies. Please note: Care and custody for more than one minor may be transferred to this person!
The agreement can be downloaded HERE!
Drinking any type of alcohol, including alcopops, under the age of 18 is strictly prohibited and against German law!
AGGREGATES
If you plan on taking aggregates with you onto the site, please make sure they are in good working condition and that they are not leaking oil or fuel. A maximum of 20 liters of fuel in an appropriate canister are allowed per vehicle. We assume you will handle this matter in an appropriate way and that it needs no further explanation or discussion. From 1 a.m., all aggregates need to be turned off for nighttime peace.
AIRPORT
The closest major airport is Nürnberg. Other airports that can easily be reached by train are Stuttgart, München and Frankfurt/Main (NOT Frankfurt-Hahn). There are SUMMER BREEZE buses going from Stuttgart and Nuremberg airports directly to the festival site. Timetables and booking info can be found on www.mondialevents.de. There are also train connections from all airports to the festival site. HERE you can find the right connection.
ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE
The campsite can be accessed from 10:00 Wednesday. We urge you to refrain from arriving at the site earlier than the opening hours! On Sunday, the site has to be cleared by 14:00. The daily parking lot will be open from 09:00. We will put up signs around the entire Dinkelsbühl area to guide you to the campsite, parking lots and the festival site!
PLEASE NOTE: Due to traffic restrictions, it will be impossible for you to leave the campground by car once you have entered it, from Wednesday until Thursday afternoon. If needed, the shuttle bus will give you a lift to the city center of Dinkelsbuehl free of charge.
Those traveling with public transport will find a PDF document with all relevant information about bus and train timetables to and from Dinkelsbühl HERE.
All those going to SUMMER BREEZE can take a bus shuttle from the main rail stations / airports in Stuttgart or Nuremberg straight to the main entrance of the SUMMER BREEZE Open Air in Dinkelsbühl. To book your tickets or find more info go to www.mondialevents.de. You may also purchase tickets for the Mondail buses from the Info Point on the festival Saturday from 13:00 to 15:00, regardless of how you arrived at the festival.
Regarding your arrival/departure from the festival please also check under Car Sharing.
BAN ON GLASS
Unfortunately, some of the festival visitors' careless behaviour forces us to strictly prohibit any glass on the festival site and on the camping grounds. We will strictly check each car entering the site. Our security will also check the camping grounds during the festival days. Please have understanding and avoid bringing any kind of glass containers.
This includes all food and drink containers made of glass, regardless of the use they are given (e.g. tobacco in a preserving jar). Due to the high accident and fire hazard, oil (kerosene/paraffin) lamps are prohibited too! Parfum flacons and medicine bottles are allowed.
Best thing to do is to pour all liquids into plastic containers. Please take this issue seriously - otherwise we will face massive problems in getting access to appropriate camping grounds in the future!
BATHING
There are small ponds and watercourses around the festival site. Bathing there is prohibited! Therefore bathing is at everyone's own risk!
BEER GARDEN
Once again, you will have the possibility to enjoy our beer garden! There will be a beer garden next to the entrance top the festival site. So those looking for a little break in between bands will have the opportunity to enjoy a drink and some food in a comfortable atmosphere right there!
BRANDING
Our branding stand will be on site again too, also at the same location as 2012. Our dear friend Elle will be there to brand the SUMMER BREEZE logo onto your leather wristbands, wallets, boots, bags, etc. He will have several different red hot designs to give you an authentic branding. Unfortunately Elle's costs have risen, too, so he will charge a small fee. So if you want a different kind of decoration for your denim cutoff or your jeans old or new, you can have it done here. But please note: It is not possible to brand synthetic fibres. Elle will happily advise you.
BUS SHUTTLE BETWEEN THE FESTIVAL SITE AND DINKELSBÜHL
This year there's going to be a few changes to the free bus shuttle between the festival site and Dinkelsbühl.
On Wednesday (14.08.), the day most people arrive, there are going to be shuttle buses running between the festival site and the Schiesswasen bus stop from 10:00 to 20:00 in order to guarantee a smooth arrival for those traveling by bus and train.
On Thursday (15.08.), Friday (16.08.) and Saturday (17.08.) the buses will run between the ALDI supermarket and the festival site from 8:00 to 20:00. For those wishing to visit the old town of Dinkelsbühl, this only means a very short walk.
On Sunday (18.08.), the day most people leave, the buses will again run from the festival site to the Schiesswasen bus stop, in order to guarantee a smooth connection to the local bus and train services.
CAMEL STAGE
The Camel Stage is the fourth stage at SUMMER BREEZE Open Air. It is located right next to the Party Tent and will host a balanced program with selected bands starting Wednesday, August 14th, 2013.
CAMERAS
Regular analog or digital compact cameras and mobile phones with integrated cameras are allowed. Reflex cameras with interchangeable lenses, video cameras and any audio recording equipment is strictly prohibited on the festival site without a SUMMER BREEZE press/photo pass!
CAMPING / PARKING
There will be enough parking and camping space available. You may park your car right next to your tent. Camping is not permitted without the purchase of a festival ticket. Parking and camping are included in the festival ticket price. Therefore, please make use of the official parking and camping areas! Reservations for camp space are not possible. The reservation of camping space is only possible for large groups. Please look under RESERVING CAMPING SITE. This year again our friends at Ready to Rock will be renting out tents, camping chairs, etc. You can also have them build your tent, completely equipped with chairs, drinks and a portable toilet. More info and prices under
The daily parking area can be found just across the street of the campsite entrance. You may also park your car in that area while camping on the campsite separately. This is comfortable if you intend to leave the festival early and need to make sure you can move your car at any time.
Please note: only vehicles with a weight not exceeding 3.5 tons will have access to the campground. Trailers must be kept with each car. Furthermore, trailers which can only be towed by a tractor or lorry will not be allowed on the campsite. The same goes for tractors and generally all motorized two and three wheel vehicles as well as quad bikes.
Trailers and campers shall not bring gas cylinders exceeding 11kg. Please make sure your equipment is in good working condition and that you use it in an appropriate way. Any misuse may have fatal consequences. We believe this needs no further explanation.
Heavy vehicles such as caravans and cars with trailers will be routed to specific areas. There will also be a certain area where you can wait for friends or hold space available for them to use. This is only possible in those areas. Please do follow the security staff instructions and make up your mind on what you want to do prior to arriving on the campsite.
Camping outside the official camping area is prohibited. Doing so will be fined! The police will be patrolling!
CAR SHARING
Drive2day.de is an easy way to get a lift to SUMMER BREEZE in Dinkelsbühl for all those who don't own a car but still don't wish to use public transport. This way, you are not only protecting the environment, but you get to meet new people too.
More info about this unique service can be found HERE and on our Facebook page. Have a good trip!
CASH MACHINE / ATM
There will be a cash machine on site, located next to the entrance to the VIP area, close to the Camel Stage, so you can't really miss it. Since the cash machine will be located inside a container, you will be able to keep your feet dry while withdrawing cash. The charges for cash withdrawals will be displayed at the machine.
CHILDREN
Children of up to 12 years of age have free access when presenting the child's and one of the parents' Ids. Please check the AGE LIMIT / PROTECTION OF MINORS item in this ABC for further information regarding admittance to the separate areas.
CONFISCATED ITEMS
All items of little value that are confiscated at the doors will go straight into the rubbish bin. These include vuvuzelas, oil lamps, simple tools, megaphones, noisemakers, simple knives, flyers, posters, etc.! Items of more value may be collected until 14:00 Sunday afternoon. Any items that are not collected until this time will go in the bin, too! The organization takes no liability for confiscated objects!
CREW / SECURITY
Please be nice to these boys and girls. Treat them the way you would like them to treat you. Keep in mind theirs is quite a stressful job.
Our securities will be wearing numbers so they can be easily identified. In case you do not feel treated appropriately by security, please inform our staff at the ticket counters immediately, providing the respective security’s number. We will then take further steps to solve the problem! However, generally speaking, the securities' instructions have to be observed and followed without question. The reason is simple: it ensures a smooth festival flow that saves us all a lot of time and hassle.
DINKELSBUEHL
Since the festival site is located about 5km outside of Dinkelsbuehl city, we will again arrange a bus shuttle running from and to Dinkelsbuehl.
Dinkelsbuehl itself has numerous attractions and leisure facilities to offer. You can do some shopping in the picturesque medieval Old Town, check out some of the countless cafes, restaurants and bars or visit the indoor swimming pool as well as one of the last open-air swimming pools by a river - the Woernitz river shore!
DOGS
Dogs and animals in general are not permitted on the whole festival site (campsite and concert area).
To all those who up to know had to stay away from the festival because they didn't have anyone to look after their four-legged friends, we can now offer a solution during the festival days: Hundezentrum Mittelfranken.
Hundezentrum Mittelfranken is one of the most modern boarding kennels in all of Germany. Their main focus is a dog school and boarding facilities. This includes feeding and fur care as well as the necessary social contact with humans. A 4,000m² field provides plenty of room for exercise.
For SUMMER BREEZE ticket holders the boarding kennel has a cost of 15.- Euros a day instead of the usual 18.- Euros. Additional fees for Sundays and holidays don't apply either.
Please read all the relevant information on their website!
These are the contact details:
Website: www.hundezentrum.de
Email: info@hundezentrum.de
Tel.: +49 (0) 9853 389 119
Important notice:
You will have to present a valid vaccination certificate. Vaccines are available for an additional fee. The dog should have undergone a prophylactic parasite treatment (against fleas and worms) at least a week before. This treatment is also available for an additional fee. The dog must be insured against third-party damages. Bringing a blanket (of the dog's known environment), if possible in a “hard shell” (dog basket), is advised.
DOORS OPEN
Doors to the festival site will open at 11 a.m. on all three days. The show starts at 12 noon every day.
When entering the festival site, you will have to go through additional security checks. Make sure you only carry the permitted quantity of drinks in the corresponding boxes and cans as well as the permitted kinds of cameras. Otherwise we will have to take them away from you.
In addition, the following items are prohibited on the festival site: pocket knives, video cameras, video mobile phones, walkman, cassette and MD recorders, any pyrotechnical gear, any sort of cans (hairspray, deodorant), flacons, flagstaffs, sticks, nail files, gas-powered horns/vuvuzelas and musical instruments.
FESTIVAL ACCESS WRIST BAND
We will exchange your tickets for the festival wristbands right at the entrance to the campsite. You must show your wristband to any member of security or staff on demand. Therefore, you must not take it off your wrist from Wednesday until your departure on Sunday.
FESTIVAL BOOKLET
The official SUMMER BREEZE festival booklet can be purchased at the entrance to the campsite and at both merchandise booths for a contribution towards expenses of € 1.-. It contains all information about the festival, the bands and the running order. It’s also a perfect item for the bands to sign at the signing sessions.
FIRE
Open fire is strictly prohibited throughout the entire camping and festival site. Camping stoves and barbecue grills are allowed as long as they are not used for purposes other than intended. Due to some serious accidents which have resulted in life threatening injuries, we expressly urge you to exercise extreme caution when using fire starters to light charcoal barbeques! Oil lamps are not allowed on the festival site! The same applies to firewood and cressets!
FIRST AID / MALTESER
There will be a large first aid center right by the entrance to the festival area run by the Malteser emergency service. There will also be three additional first aid stations on the campsite that are open 24 hours. Furthermore, the Maltesers will be crossing the campsite with mobile teams and vehicles. The location of the Malteser stations can be found on the site map.
During the festival, you may call the following number in case of emergency: + 49 700-MALTESER (+49 700-62583737).
Any changes will be posted here.
FLYERS / POSTERS / PROMO CDs / FREE MERCHANDISE SAMPLES
Handing out/hanging flyers/posters, promo CDs, free merchandise samples, etc. is prohibited on the entire festival site.
FOOD / DRINKS
Naturally, we will provide you with the opportunity to buy refreshments and food. Stands can be found throughout the site. You may bring your own drinks (for your own use only) to the campground. You may only take a tetra pack or a plastic bottle of up to 0.5 liters per person or a SUMMER BREEZE 0.4 ltr mug with you onto the festival site.
PLEASE NOTE: Glass is strictly prohibited on the entire festival and camping grounds!
GARBAGE
We are aware that many people do leave a lot of garbage behind. The costs of garbage disposal have grown incredibly throughout the last few years. One more reason to ask you for your kind help to address this situation.
We will provide garbage bags when entering the site.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation and understanding. Since in the last few years some people have brought enough furniture to fill an entire living room, and disposing of one piece of furniture is more expensive than the price of two to three tickets, we will have security guards checking the camping grounds and taking pictures. So those who bring furniture and leave it behind will be charged an additional fee for waste disposal and each case will be taken to court.
Please also make sure you keep your camping space tidy during your entire stay in your own interest.
Please make sure you do not leave any metal items such as tent pegs in the ground, as this presents a serious problem for us.
INFOPOINT
This year we will have an official information point on the festival area. If any changes should occur during the festival, we will announce them there immediately. Also, should you have any problems, questions and so on, you can approach our staff there for them to forward your concerns to us.
LOST AND FOUND
In case you find lost property, please bring it to the info point! If you have lost something please get in touch with our staff at the info point, too. Any item not being picked up by the end of the festival will be transferred to the official lost and found office in Dinkelsbuehl during the week after the festival.
MERCHANDISE
Festival merchandise and merchandise of the performing artists will be available at the huge merchandise booth which is going to be located centrally on the festival site. On Wednesday, the official SUMMER BREEZE merchandise will also be available right next to the party tent.
NIGHTTIME PEACE
As we all know, quite a few party animals will show up again at this year’s SUMMER BREEZE, so we decided to set up a party tent for these animals to have the chance to continue partying till dawn. But yet again, this means it’s not allowed to use any stereos or run any engines or aggregates on the campsite between 1 a.m. and 7 a.m. We expect you to respect this rule, as this is a legal restraint from the local government that will be enforced by us. This is in the interest of people living in the surrounding areas but also for those staying on the campsite who simply want to sleep, which we think is fair enough!
NON-FOOD
Once again, our trading mile will offer you a large selection of CDs, textiles, jewelry and much more this year.
PARTY STAGE
Here we will provide you with an exciting program starting Wednesday, August 14th, 2013. It will kick off with the finals of our newcomer contest, the NEW BLOOD AWARD, followed by the Nuclear Blast Label Night. On the three regular festival days there will also be a lot of variety - in addition to the main stages. The Party Tent is located right at the entrance of the concert site. Unmissable!
PHARMACY
There are several pharmacies in the old town of Dinkelsbühl. There you will find everything you need during normal business hours.
POLICE
The local police will be there to serve and protect you. They are really nice and willing to help wherever possible. However, they will be testing for drug and alcohol abuse as usual. For that reason, but also for your own safety, please make sure your driver stays sober. We will not clear the daily parking lot so you may stay there overnight. The police controls on Sunday will definitely happen, be forewarned!
Furthermore, the police considers the whole festival ground, including concert area, campsite and parking area, as public roads. Please keep this in mind when driving on the festival site (no drugs/alcohol, only registered cars, mandatory use of helmets for bikers, MOT, etc.) and behave as if you were driving on an open street. The police will be there to enforce traffic laws.
POST / MAIL
There are post boxes in Sinbronn and Illenschwang which provide daily service except on Sunday. The nearest post office is located in Dinkelsbuehl (Luitpoldstr. 13) right next to the local police station. 2 minutes walking distance from the bus station / McDonald’s.
POSTERS
Due to popular demand, we will make our festival posters available at the merchandising booth again this year.
RACISM
Racism will not be tolerated! Hereby we once again would like to state we are strictly against any form of right-wing philosophy or racism. We also count on your help: if you come across anything, please inform us immediately! Either approach security or, even better, go to the ticket counter. We will take immediate action against the people involved.
RESERVING CAMPING SITE
This year it is possible again to reserve camping space at SUMMER BREEZE for groups of 20 people and more. For 10.- Euros per person you can reserve sufficient camping space on a separate campsite close to the main entrance and to a shower station on http://www.silverdust-shop.de.
Group reservations can be made from now to 30.06.2013. However, the area set aside for group reservations is limited. Should the available space be used up before 30.06.2013, the time period for reservations will end automatically.
There's room for seven cars considered in a reservation for 20 people, from 24 people an eighth car is included, from 27 people a ninth one, etc.
On each reserved camping space there will be a portable toilet available, which will be emptied once a day. From 40 people up there will be two, from 60 people up, three, etc.
Therefore it will be no problem to camp in larger groups at SUMMER BREEZE 2013, even if members of the group arrive at different times. Precise information about the organization at the entrance is available on completion of the ordering process on www.silverdust-shop.de.
ATTENTION: Please do only reserve camping space once you know exactly how many people your group will include. The registered number is final and may not be altered afterwards! Group reservations will be made by ONLY ONE member of the group. It is not necessary for each group member to register individually.
Here's all the facts at one glance:
Minimum number of people per group: 20
Price per person: 10,- €
Shop: www.silverdust-shop.de
Duration: only while space lasts, ending 30.06.2013 at the latest
Cars: 20 people may bring seven cars, 24 people eight cars, 27 people nine cars, etc.
Portable toilets: a portable toilet is included on each reserved camping space, from 40 people up there's two, from 60 people up there's three, etc.
RETURNABLE BOTTLES AND CANS
This year we are again collaborating with the Aalen-based NGO Govinda Entwicklungshilfe e.V. Please support them by putting your empty returnable bottles and cans into the bins they place on the festival site. We will also contribute to the cause by donating money coming from our VIP and press people to Govinda. Each one of you can decide how much they want to support Govinda. Get in!
RUNNING ORDER
The running order with all the bands' exact stage times will be available from mid July under “Bands 2013”.
SHOWERS
There are three shower stations on the campsite. For each shower, we must charge € 2.50 to cover the costs at least partially. For those wanting to use water toilets: you can do so for a fee of € 1.-. The shower station will be open non-stop from Wednesday 12.00h until Sunday 12.00h. Furthermore, there will be various free water stations where you can fetch fresh water for cooking and washing. Please make sure you don’t waste any water!
SIGNING SESSIONS
Almost all bands will be holding signing sessions at our partner’s booths of METAL.DE and METAL HAMMER. Please note the scheduled times and make sure you don’t miss this chance.
SITE MAP
The new site map will be available from early July on under “INFOS” in the “Downloads” section.
SOUND SYSTEMS
We truly understand every one of you who wish to carry on partying at their tents after the live sets have finished, which is impossible without music. Some people unfortunately keep overdoing this, so we need to ban PAs, mixing desks, power amplifiers, electric guitars, drums, vuvuzelas, trumpets, megaphones, horns, etc. etc. A regular car hi-fi will do and should not disturb your neighbours. Once again we would herewith mention the nighttime peace, which we kindly ask you to observe.
STAGES
Much like in previous years, SUMMER BREEZE will service you with two stages which are well known as MAIN STAGE and PAIN STAGE. All bands will alternate with no overlapping, so you just need to move a bit to see each band play, just the way you’re used to. A video screen will be in place again right between the Main and the Pain Stage. Proceedings already start on Wednesday at the Party Tent and the Camel Stage.
SUPERMARKET
Anything you might need to survive this festival weekend can be found in our supermarkets, which are marked on the site map, for reasonable prices.
TAXI RANK
For those of you wishing to take a taxi, there will again be a taxi rank in 2013. It will be located opposite the secutity corridors on Black Earth. Please do only take those taxis or wait there until one arrives. Please ignore the taxis on the road as they don't observe the rules, disrupting the traffic and putting your security at risk. The drivers who use the taxi rank on Black Earth and observe the rules should be rewarded for it.
TENT AND CAMPING ACCESSORY RENTAL
You can't be bothered with shopping, carrying stuff around and setting stuff up? Then Ready To Rock is the answer to your prayers! On www.ready-to-rock.de Ready To Rock rent out camping tents and accessories (chairs, tables, matresses, etc.) for SUMMER BREEZE and even set them up before your arrival.
Rental tents will be placed at a top location in close proximity to the concert area. Ready To Rock also offer rental toilets and the possibility to order a load of drinks with your tent.
All rental items (except for tents and toilets) can be conveniently picked up at Ready To Rock's service tent and used anywhere on the camp site.
Enjoy the SUMMER BREEZE carefree package by Ready To Rock: Book online, get there, check in – ready to tock!
THEFT
Unfortunately our festival – as most big events – is not immune to pickpockets and thieves. Most of the times it is organised gangs trying to pick your wallets in the crowd in front of the stages. Therefore please make sure your wallets as well as any other belongings are kept safe. Furthermore, please do not leave any valuables or car keys in your tent and make sure to keep your cars and tents locked when leaving.
TICKET COUNTER / DAILY TICKETS
Each day there's going to be a limited number of one-day tickets available at the festival box office exclusively, valid only for the same day. The day parking lot is just opposite the entrance to the camp site and is well signposted. Parking is included in the ticket price. Camping is not allowed for one-day ticket holders. There are no one-day tickets available for Wednesday, although there's a lot going on in the tent on that day already. This is a special bonus for 3-day ticket buyers only.
TOILETS / WATER SUPPLY
Always a bit of a problem, but a festival like this is no walk in the park. In the last few years the water supply system has been completely renewed and overhauled. There are now several water stations, which are all marked on the site map. Furthermore and besides the portable toilets, there will also be paid flushable toilets in the concert area, as well as a free water station to wash your hands.
Please do not drop entire toilet paper rolls into the flushable toilets. It is quite obvious why!
In order to guarantee the proper use of the water we have available, we have to ban inflatable pools. The volume of water required to fill them would collapse our water lines. Water pistols are prohibited too. Unfortunately we had to find out that some were being filled with body fluids. Those who wish to be sprayed with their own or others' urine are welcome to do so, but not at our festival. It's bad enough that we actually need to mention this.
TRAIN STATIONS
The closest stations are Ellwangen, Ansbach, Crailsheim, Dombuehl, Noerdlingen and Ulm. Arriving there, you can easily catch a bus to Dinkelsbuehl. For detailed train information please check: http://www.bahn.de. For more travel information please go to JOURNEY!
There are SUMMER BREEZE buses going from the main train stations in Stuttgart and Nuremberg directly to the festival site. Timetables and booking information can be find on www.mondialevents.de.
UTENSILS
Rivets, drinking horns and the likes do belong on a festival, no doubt. We do not want to prohibit these items and we do trust your sensible use of them. Only self-made rivets or ornaments (with nails, barbed wire, etc.) and everything that increases the risk of accidents or may be misused as a weapon may not be brough onto the site. Vuvuzelas, which have reached an arguable popularity since the beginning of the 2010 Football World Cup, are prohibited on the entire festival site (concert area and camp site).
VIDEO AND AUDIO RECORDING
By entering the festival site, attendees agree to be filmed or recorded and that this material may be published at a later time.
VIP CONTAINER
The VIP ticket container is located outside the festival site at the football field in Sinbronn, opposite the petrol station. All accreditations, guest lists and passes for bands, traders, members of staff, etc. have to be picked up from here. Those persons accompanying our disabled friends will also receive their free ticket there upon presentation of the handicapped ID of the person they are accompanying.
Opening hours of accreditation / VIP container:
| Wed: | 14.08.2013 | 08:00 AM - 10:00 PM |
| Thu: | 15.08.2013 | 08:00 AM - 10:00 PM |
| Fri: | 16.08.2013 | 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM |
| Sat: | 17.08.2013 | 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM |
WEAPONS / VIOLENCE
Up until now, SUMMER BREEZE has not experienced any violence – and we would like it to stay this way. Anyone looking for trouble or damaging anyone’s property, inside the fencing or beyond, will be kicked out!!! Have the courage to interfere or inform security if someone starts trouble or harasses women.
Weapons are prohibited on the entire festival site! There should be no need to explain why. That includes baseball bats, knuckle dusters, gas, axes, chainsaws, spades and any dangerous tools such as hammers, knives longer than 10cm, carpet cutters, chain saws, spades and so on as well as pyrotechnical items.
WHEELCHAIRS / DISABLED PEOPLE
We are constantly trying to improve the service for our disabled visitors in order to make the festival as comfortable and barrier-free as possible for them.
Seriously disabled visitors with a G (significant walking disability), AG (exceptional walking disability), B (need of constant care), H (helplessness) or BL (blindness) in their handicapped ID will receive a free ticket for their accompanying person. It's important that disabled visitors present a valid ticket as well as their handicapped ID with one of the aforementioned marks.
As in the last few years, there is going to be a special platform incl. wheelchair accessible toilet for wheelchair users at the open air stages. In the Party Tent wheelchair users may use the VIP platform. Please speak to the security personnel at either side of the stage barrier and they will help you. There will be a wheelchair accessible toilet there, too.
There is also going to be a special camping area for wheelchair users and disabled people. This enables us to provide electricity to those who need it (e.g. for respirators, electric wheelchairs, etc.).
In 2013 there is going to be a special camping area for wheelchair users and disabled people again. There we will be able to help all visitors who depend on electricity (e.g. respirators, electric wheelchairs) and those who can only walk short distances. Besides wheelchair accessible toilets there is going to be a wheelchair accessible shower in close proximity for the first time as well. In order to secure a large enough camping area, users will have to make their reservation in advance. Please make your binding reservation HERE. A handicapped ID marked with a G (significant walking disability), AG (exceptional walking disability), B (need of constant care), H (helplessness) or BL (blindness) or proof of their dependance on electricity is a prerequisite. Those who depend on electricity must: a) communicate this in advance and b) coordinate with the Malteser emergency service on site. Don't forget to bring a long enough extension cable. For each diabled person only one fully occupied car is allowed on the camp site. In order to process them in time, your advance reservations have to reach us no later than June 30th, 2013. Please use our contact form.
