Die Finalisten des NEW BLOOD AWARD 2010 und damit die letzten sechs fehlenden Bands des Billings für das SUMMER BREEZE Open Air 2010 stehen fest!

Entgegen der ursprünglich angekündigten fünf Finalisten, werden in diesem Jahr sechs Bands gegeneinander antreten. Grund: Das Endergebnis war so knapp, dass wir eine sechste Band mit in das Finale des NEW BLOOD AWARD aufnehmen mussten. Folgende sechs Underground-Acts haben im Online-Voting von euch die meisten Stimmen bekommen:

Diese Truppen werden am Mittwoch, dem 18.08.2010, ab 15:30 Uhr vor euch und einer qualifizierten Jury das schwermetallische Treiben auf dem SUMMER BREEZE 2010 im Party Tent eröffnen und um die erstmals verliehene NEW BLOOD AWARD-Trophäe mitsamt des Opening Slots für den nächsten Tag auf einer der Hauptbühnen wetteifern.

Vielen Dank, auch im Namen aller beteiligten Bands, für eure rege Teilnahme am Voting! Die Gewinner der 5x2 Drei-Tages-Tickets sind bereits benachrichtigt worden.

Hallo SUMMER BREEZE Gemeinde,

der NEW BLOOD AWARD erfreut sich 2010 noch größerer Beliebtheit als in den vergangenen Jahren. Weit über 2000!, meist hochklassige Einsendungen haben uns gezeigt wo mittlerweile die Messlatte im vermeintlichen Underground liegt.

Diese Dichte an überdurchschnittlichen Veröffentlichungen hat uns in der Vorauswahl nicht selten angestrengt diskutieren lassen. Jetzt ist es endlich vollbracht! Die TOP 20 stellt sich ab sofort Eurem fachkundigen Urteil. Ihr werdet im Online-Voting entscheiden, welche fünf Bands sich auf dem SUMMER BREEZE livehaftig ihrer letzten Schlacht stellen werden, um schließlich aus den Händen einer renommierten Jury den eigens designten NEW BLOOD AWARD in Empfang nehmen zu können.

Der Sieger wird schließlich auf einer der Hauptbühnen das SUMMER BREEZE 2010 eröffnen. Damit aber nicht genug, zusätzlich winkt dem Gewinner ein Promotion Deal der Kollegen von Brainstorm Promotion / Hellfest Records.

Um bisher kartenlose Fans noch eine Chance zu geben Ihren Favoriten vor Ort zu unterstützen, verlosen wir unter allen Teilnehmern des Votings 5x2 Tickets. Jetzt nichts wie ran an die Tasten und votet Eure Band auf das SUMMER BREEZE 2010.

Achtung! 2011 werden wir den Wettbewerb noch attraktiver gestalten und erweitern die Bewerbungen auf ganz Europa. Es gilt natürlich nach wie vor die Grundregel, dass Ihr bis zum Zeitpunkt des Contests 2011 keinen Labeldeal haben dürft, um an der Endausscheidung teilnehmen zu können. Einsendeschluss ist der 31.03.2011!

The finalists for the NEW BLOOD AWARD 2010, who complete the billing for this year's SUMMER BREEZE Open Air 2010, have been announced!

Despite the planned five participants, there will be six bands competing against each other instead. The reason being that the result of the voting was so close that we had to get a sixth band into the finals. The following six underground bands got the most votes from you in our recent online voting:

On August 18, 2010 starting at 15:30, these bands will open the proceedings for SUMMER BREEZE 2010 in the Party Tent in front of a qualified jury and you, the fans, competing for the first-ever NEW BLOOD AWARD and the opening slot on one of the main stages the day after.

Thank you very much, also on behalf of the bands, for your active participation in the voting progress. The winners of the 5x2 three-day-tickets have already been notified.

Hello SUMMER BREEZE community,

in 2010 the NEW BLOOD award seems to be even more popular than it was in the past years. More than 2000 incoming applications of which the most were high class made us learn what is the average level within the so called underground.

This concentration of outstanding releases has caused us a tricky preselection and left us in heated discussions often enough. But now it is finally done! The top 20 is ready for your competent judgement. This online voting decides which 5 bands will take on for the last battle at the SUMMER BREEZE. Target: to receive the specially signed NEW BLOOD AWARD from a renowned jury.

The winner will be opening up the SUMMER BREEZE 2010 on one of the main stages and, in addition to that, will be topped up by a promotional deal with the professionals of promotional agency Brainstorm Promotion/Hellfest Records.

Fans without a ticket we will be enabled to support their favourite band during the contest by raffling off 5 x 2 tickets. So hurry up and vote for your band to play the SUMMER BREEZE 2010.

In 2011 the NEW BLOOD AWARD will be issued for the fifth time. Whoever has now tasted the blood and wants to participate please send your material to the known address.

Please note in 2011 we will increase this competition and make it more attractive. Applications from all over Europe will then be considered. Still the golden rule is you mustn't have a record deal by the time the contest takes place to participate in the finals.
