 Wir freuen uns, euch einen ganz besonderen Leckerbissen präsentieren zu können: ANATHEMA. Lange war es ruhig um die Briten, die 1990 als Doom-Metal-Formation begannen und sich mit der Zeit immer mehr dem ambitionierten Alternative Rock zuwandten. Zwar datiert ihr letztes, reguläres Studioalbum – die 2008er Halbakustik-Scheibe ‚Hindsight‘ außen vor gelassen – bis in das Jahr 2003 zurück, was aber nichts daran ändert, dass die Mannen von der Insel stets für eine ganz spezielle Atmosphäre sorgen. Viele von euch werden ihren unnachahmlichen Gig als allerletzte Band auf dem SUMMER BREEZE 2008 noch in Erinnerung haben. Welch grandioser Schlußpunkt nach drei Tagen Festival dies doch war! 2010 laufen ANATHEMA erneut in Dinkelsbühl auf, um euch mit ihren atmosphärischen und dichten Sounds ein weiteres Mal zu verzaubern.
 We are happy to announce a very special treat for all of you: ANATHEMA. It has been quiet lately around the UK band, which started in 1990 as a doom metal act but has turned more and more towards ambitious alternative rock sounds. Their last regular studio album – not taking into consideration their 2008 semi-acoustic album 'Hindsight' – may date as far back as 2003, but it doesn't change the fact that ANATHEMA always provide a very special atmosphere. Many of you probably still remember their matchless performance as the very last band playing on SUMMER BREEZE 2008. What a glorious ending to three days of festival it was! In 2010 ANATHEMA return to Dinkelsbühl to enchant you once more with their dense and atmospheric sounds.

Cela a été plutôt calme ces derniers temps pour le groupe britannique, qui a commencé en 1990 en tant que groupe de doom métal, mais qui s’est de plus en plus vers des sons rock alternatifs et ambitieux. Leur dernier album studio – ne pas prendre en considération leur album semi-acoustique sorti en 2008, `Hindsight’ – doit remonter à 2003, mais ne change rien au fait qu’Anathema a toujours dégagé une atmosphère très spéciale. Pas mal d’entre vous doivent probablement toujours se rappeler leur prestation incomparable en tant que tout dernier groupe jouant au SUMMER BREEZE 2008. Une glorieuse fin pour terminer trois jours de festival! En 2010, ANATHEMA retourne à Dinkelsbühl afin de vous enchanter à nouveau avec leur sons denses et atmosphériques.

C'è stata molta calma recentemente attorno alla band inglese, che ha cominciato nel 1990 come gruppo doom metal ma si è spostata sempre più verso ambiziose sonorità rock alternativo. Il loro ultimo album da studio ufficiale – senza considerare il loro album semi-acustico 'Hindsight' del 2008 – può anche essere datato 2003, ma ciò non cambia il fatto che gli ANATHEMA regalano sempre un'atmosfera molto speciale. Molti di voi probabilmente ricordano ancora la loro impeccabile performance come ultimissima band ad esibirsi al SUMMER BREEZE 2008. Che finale glorioso per un festival di tre giorni! Nel 2010 gli ANATHEMA ritornano a Dinskelsbuehl per incantarvi ancora una volta con le loro sonorità dense e atmosferiche.
