 Ausgewiesenen Folk-Freunden werden FEJD aus Schweden bereits ein Begriff sein, allen anderen spätestens nach dem SUMMER BREEZE 2010! Die durch eine Fusion der Folk-Truppe Rimmerfors und der Power Metaller von Pathos hervorgegangene Truppe bedient sich in ihren Weisen einer metallischen Rhythmussektion, bestehend aus E-Bass und Schlagzeug, E-Gitarren sucht man in ihren eigenständigen Sound jedoch vergebens. Dabei bedienen FEJD eher die nachdenkliche und atmosphärische Seite des Folk. Wo bei anderen Bands wild getanzt, gefeiert und Met verschüttet wird, widmet sich dieses Quintett eher den eher introvertierten Folk-Fans, in dem es eine ungleich dichtere und packende Stimmung erzeugt. Außergewöhnlich!

Born from a fusion of folk act Rimmerfors and power metallers Pathos, the group uses a typically metal rhythm section consisting of drums and bass, while electric guitars are entirely absent from their sound. FEJD prefer to explore the more reflective and atmospheric aspects of folk music. While other bands call for dance, party and mead drinking, this quintet caters to the more introverted folk fans by creating a dense and captivating atmosphere. A truly exceptional band!

Né d’une fusion du groupe folk Rimmerfors et des power métalleux Pathos, le groupe utilise une section rythmique métallique typique qui consiste en batterie et basse, pendant que les guitares électriques sont entièrement absentes de leur son. FEJD préfère explorer des aspects plus rélectifs et atmosphériques de la musique folk. Lorsque d’autres groupes tont plus l’appel à la danse, la fête et boivent de l’hydromel, ce quintet s’approvisionne en fans folk plus introvertis en créant une atmosphère dense et captivante. Nati da una fusione del gruppo folk Rimmerfors e dei power metaller Pathos, la band utilizza una sezione ritmica tipicamente metal che consiste di batteria e basso, mentre le chitarre elettriche sono totalmente assenti dal loro sound. I FEJD preferiscono esplorare gli aspetti più riflessivi e atmosferici della musica folk. Mentre altre band invitano a danzare, far festa e bere idromele, questo quintetto si rivolge ai fan del folk più introverso creando un’atmosfera dense e accattivante. Una band veramente eccezionale!
