Lieferten WAR FROM A HARLOTS MOUTH auf ihrem Debüt ‚Transmetropolitan‘ noch fast ausschließlich verzwickten Mathcore für Professoren ab, hielt sie diese Tatsache nicht davon ab, das SUMMER BREEZE-Partyzelt im Jahre 2007 nach Strich und Faden zu zerlegen. Auf ihrem Zweitling ‚In Shoals‘ geht es zwar immer noch vertrackt zu, aber alles läuft in wesentlich geordneteren Bahnen ab. So macht dieser Berlin-Fünfer sogar Jazz-Hassern diesen spannenden Stil – eingeflochten in ihre wuchtigen Deathcore-Abrissbirnen – schmackhaft. Absolute Pflicht für Freunde von The Ocean (deren ex-Sänger Nico malträtiert übrigens bei WFAHM das Mikro), The Dillinger Escape Plan und Math- bzw. Deathcore generell!


 While on their debut album 'Transmetropolitan' WAR FROM A HARLOTS MOUTH almost exclusively delivered complicated mathcore suitable only for people with a higher education, this fact didn't prevent them from utterly destroying the party tent at SUMMER BREEZE 2007. Their sophomore album 'In Shoals' still sounds quite complex, but there is more of an order to the generalized chaos. This way the Berlin quintet makes jazz – entwined in their brutal deathcore songs – even acceptable for those who otherwise hate that style. Mandatory for fans of The Ocean (whose ex-singer Nico handles vocal duties for WFAHM by the way), The Dillinger Escape Plan and math/deathcore fans in general!


 Pendant que leur premier album ‚Transmetropolitan’ a presque exclusivement délivré du mathcore compliqué, adapté uniquement pour les personnes possédant une haute éducation, WAR OF A HARLOTS MOUTH n’a pas pris en compte ces facteurs pour ne pas détruire la tente du SUMMER BREEZE 2007. Leur album sophomore ‚In Shoals’ sonne toujours d’une manière complexe, mais il y a plus qu’un ordre au chaos généralisé. De cette manière le quintet berlinois fait du jazz – entrelacé dans des titres de deathcore brutal – même acceptables pour ceux qui d’habitude détestent ce style. Obligatoire pour les fans de The Ocean (dont l’ex-chanteur Nico a pris en main les tâches vocales de WFAHM), de The Dillinger Escape Plan et pour tous les fans de math/deathcore en général!

 Nonostante nel loro album di debutto ‘Transmetropolitan’ i WAR FROM A HARLOTS MOUTH avessero proposto quasi esclusivamente un complicato mathcore adatto solo a gente con un’educazione superiore, questo fatto non ha impedito loro di radere al suolo la party tent al SUMMER BREEZE 2007. Il seguente album ‘In Shoals’ suona ancora piuttosto complesso, ma c’è più di una parvenza di ordine nel caos generalizzato. Così facendo il quintetto di Berlino crea jazz – incastrato nei loro pezzi di deathcore brutale – accettabile anche per coloro che di solito odiano questo stile. Obbligatorio per i fan dei The Ocean (il cui cantante Nico si prende cura delle parti vocali per i WFAHM, tra l’altro), The Dillinger Escape Plan e per i fan del mathcore in generale!
