In their home country Norway AUDREY HORNE already enjoy the status of superstars. In Germany the Scandinavians are not quite there yet, but their reputation as a gripping classic/hard rock band with a slight grunge touch precedes them there as well. Over their last three albums they have been covering the ground in between the slow heaviness of Alice In Chains and a modern version of Rainbow’s hard rock finesse. Only rarely do they speed things up, but there’s no need for it either. AUDREY HORNE are made up of real masters at their individual instruments, who are capable of creating tension even in their slow, profound moments, a feeling impossible to evade. Those who like to relax their minds to more chilled-out sounds, at least compared to the rest of the bill, should not miss this.
