The band DEATH ceased to exist in 2001, after the tragic demise of mastermind Chuck Schuldiner caused by cancer. It was a heavy blow for the scene that left a void no one has been able to fill until today.
However, in 2013 a few former DEATH members asked Chuck’s mother for permission and formed DEATH TO ALL, a band with an alternating line-up, whose touring income goes to support the Sweet Relief Musicians Fund. This is, in our opinion, a worthy and respectful way to treat the legacy of this genre-defining group and its unique leader, without whom (technical) death metal as we know it today probably wouldn’t exist. Please pay due respect to this band’s huge achievements at SUMMER BREEZE 2015 and send your neck into retirement by headbanging to classics such as ‘Pull The Plug’ and ‘Zombie Ritual’.
