Since 1997 THE GENERATORS have been spearheading the LA punk scene. Just recently they were named “most underrated punk band of our time” by no less than USA Today. However, the band history has been far more successful than this title would induce to think. THE GENERATORS were formed out of the ashes of a band called Doug & The Slugz, who were already signed to major label Warner Brothers before disbanding due to some of the band members’ drug habits. Without missing a beat, mainman Doug “Dagger” Kane started THE GENERATORS with his childhood friend Mike Snow. Their eighth album ‘Last Of The Pariahs’ was released last September, once again delivering California punk with lots of melody and ’77 punk influences. Welcome to SUMMER BREEZE for the first time ever! Fans of Bad Religion and The Offspring would be stupid to miss this.
