Catchiness and progginess aren’t mutually exclusive, and the proof is our next confirmation, who will also be our guests in 2023: SOEN.
The band led by formar Amon Amarth and Opeth drummer Martin Lopez have sold their sould for catchy prog metal somewhere in between Tool, Opeth, Porcupine Tree and A Perfect Circle. And this doesn’t only sound good on paper, it is actually quite formidable in the real world. Music lovers will get their money’s worth with SOEN, because they will get catchiness AND musicality together. A band that can hold their ground at the ProgPower festival as well as Euroblast can’t be that bad, right?! So here is our recommendation for all prog lovers and music nerds to check out SOEN at their second show in Dinkelsbühl.
