Cashless payment at SUMMER BREEZE 2025

From 2025, everyone will be able to pay with the festival wristband.
No coins, no cards, no stress – more security!
Your chip on your wrist is all you need – whether for beer, burgers, merch or the shower.
The chip is integrated into the festival wristband. The test runs of recent years have shown the overwhelming advantages.

How it benefits you:
– less waiting at the stands
– more security in the mosh pit
– keep an eye on all your spending (directly in the festival app – please update the app)
– easily retrieve remaining credit online

You can top up your credit before the festival or directly on site – in cash or by card. And if something does go wrong, the Cashless TroubleShooting team will help you.

Do I have to register for cashless payment?
We recommend that you register your ticket in advance via the Eventportal and top it up online . This way, your credit will be available to you as soon as you receive your festival wristband and you can avoid possible waiting times at the TopUp stations (machines where you can top up your chip with cash or debit/credit card).

How does cashless payment work at the Shit’n’Shower Stations?
Using the Shit’n’Shower Stations will be more flexible! Instead of a flat rate, you pay per use of the flush toilet (€1) or shower (€4). The total amount is limited to a maximum of €15 for the whole festival. Once you have reached this amount, you pay nothing for all further shower and toilet visits. There are turnstiles at the entrances. You hold your chip up to the turnstile and the corresponding amount is automatically deducted.
